Paul is a director of Andrews & Holm. Paul’s practice focus is in competition law and regulation, including advising both corporate and government clients on mergers, restrictive trade practices, access to essential services, consumer protection, franchising and compliance issues.

Paul is a former employee of the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) and New Zealand’s Commerce Commission. He is also a former employee of the General Directorate-IV (Competition) of the European Commission Brussels, Belgium.

Paul has acted for a number of major international and domestic corporations subject to investigations by the ACCC. This has included settling responses to section 155 notices, the negotiation of confidential settlements, making applications under ACCC leniency policies and acting in Federal Court proceedings. Paul also acts in relation to seeking ACCC clearance of potentially anti-competitive mergers and acquisitions.

In the regulatory area Paul’s focus is on regulated industries, including advising participants in the energy, telecommunications/media, retail, food manufacturing and rail transport sectors.

Andrew is a director of Andrews & Holm. Andrew is a property, corporate and commercial lawyer with over 35 years’ experience.

Andrew was a lawyer and then partner at Phillips Fox for 16 years and worked with Allen & Overy in London for a number of years. Andrew has extensive experience across corporate and commercial law, funds management, capital raisings and direct real property.

The majority of Andrew’s clients are small to medium property developers and fund managers. He also has a range of business clients unrelated to the property or funds management sectors. Andrew generally tries to adopt a ‘get things done’ attitude to his transactions and has a pragmatic approach, without losing sight of the legal technicalities.

Jonathan is a senior associate of Andrews & Holm whose focus is on corporate transactional work and commercial advisory.

Jonathan has advised many listed companies including Tyco Electronics, Ardent Leisure Trust, Calliden, Inventis, ACE Insurance and Nuplex.

Daniel is an Associate at Andrews & Holm Lawyers, whose areas of expertise are commercial, property and consumer law.

Daniel was admitted to practice in 2021, having completed his combined Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business degree at the University of Technology Sydney. Prior to joining Andrews & Holm Lawyers, worked at a variety of firms gaining experience in several practice areas, including family, administrative, and competition law, as well as having worked for several years in a FinTech start-up.

Daniel’s broad experience both within and outside of the legal profession gives him a strong commercial sense, enabling him to empower his clients with great legal and business solutions

Harshani is an Associate at Andrews & Holm Lawyers who have a special interest in corporate and commercial law and property transactions.

Prior to joining Andrews & Holm Lawyers, Harshani worked at F J & G de Saram, a top-tier corporate law firm in Sri Lanka where she primarily worked in corporate litigation. She then worked as an In-house legal officer at Dialog Axiata PLC, a leading telecommunication company in Sri Lanka. After being admitted as a solicitor in Australia in 2014, Harshani worked in family law until she joined Andrews & Holm Lawyers in 2021.

Harshani has a Master’s degree in Corporate & Commercial law from the University of New South Wales.

Frank is an Associate at Andrews & Holm Lawyers whose primary interests are in corporate, commercial, and investment law.

Frank was admitted to practice in 2021, following the completion of his Masters in Laws at the University of Sydney, wherein he focused on studying comparative investment, M&A, and competition law regimes in various jurisdictions in the Asia-Pacific region. Prior to this, Frank achieved a combined Bachelor of Laws (with Honours) and Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in International Business) from Macquarie University.

Before starting at Andrews & Holm Lawyers, Frank has gained experience with several firms specialising in areas including competition, conveyancing, family, and criminal law, while also running his own sole-tradership as an entrepreneur.
